Hey Guys,
i heard that some of you dont know how to save the names of .mp3-names in an folder to a .txt-File .
Well, its simply easy here are some steps and options how to do it in Windows:

1. Open the command line interpreter at windows by typing "cmd" into your search bar.

2. Well, now you are in your home-folder so you have to browse into that folder you want to catalouge.
2.1 Switchting Disks : This is made by typing "X:" into that console so you switch into the Disk X
2.2 Browsing through Folders : This is made by typing "cd folder" , so for example you are now in "X:\folder>" if you want to go deeper in the structure use "cd" as well.

Example: Browsing into folder "Westcoast" in Disk F:

3. Now its time to catalouge! From now on you have 3 options:
3.1 Type in "tree /a > output.txt" for saving a structured list of all folders that are in your folder you are in (no .mp3-names saved!)

The .txt is saved in the folder you used that command and it looks like this:

3.2 Type in "tree /a /f > output.txt" for saving a structured list of all folders and the items that are in that folder

3.3 Type in "dir /a > output.txt" for only saving the items in that particular folder

Example in Folder "F:\Westcoast\2nd II None\2nd II None - (1991) Be True To Yourself (VLS) [256]"

4. Some tricks:
4.1 If you want to go the path backwards use "cd .."
4.2 If you want the console to show you all folders in the folder you are right in use "dir"
4.3 You also can use "Strg + C" and "Strg + V" in the console for copy&paste the foldernames.
4.4 If you want to start in your the root-folder of the disk use "cd\"
